About

A free NZ funding pathway resource centre.

NZ Funding Pathways helps New Zealand founders and SMEs work out which funding, grant, RDTI, NZTE, capital, sector-support or adviser pathway may be worth checking first.

Funded by PH Capital Advisory

NZ Funding Pathways is funded by PH Capital Advisory. PH Capital Advisory works with founder-led companies on strategic reviews before major capital, ownership, governance, growth and transaction decisions.

The resource centre exists because many founders and SMEs start with the wrong question. They ask which grant replaced an old programme, when the real issue may be RDTI evidence, export readiness, capital structure, adviser sequencing, bank finance, sector support or strategic decision-making.

Independent from government

NZ Funding Pathways is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any New Zealand government agency. It links to official sources so users can check current criteria directly.

What it does

  • maps likely funding pathway categories
  • flags weak-fit or premature routes
  • links to official sources
  • suggests adviser or agency types to speak with
  • identifies when the issue may be broader than funding

What it does not do

  • does not confirm eligibility
  • does not write grants or applications
  • does not provide tax, legal, accounting, financial or investment advice
  • does not guarantee funding
  • does not represent any government agency

Commercial transparency

The free report is funded by PH Capital Advisory. If a user appears to have a larger capital, ownership, governance, growth or transaction decision, they may be invited to request a separate PH Capital Advisory conversation. Any adviser referral or commercial arrangement will be disclosed before an introduction is made.

Start with the pathway.

Use the free check before spending time applying, claiming or speaking with the wrong adviser.
